Like many people, I had my DNA tested, made an account with the testing company and then did little with the results. Eventually, after numerous contacts and messages from matches, I started to piece my ancestry together, but this also seemed to create more questions than answers, particularly with DNA matches that I couldn’t place in my tree. Within a few days Arun had given me tutorials on how to research my DNA matches better, linked them up for me and in the process discovered a non-paternity event that, obviously, I hadn’t expected.
